The Ministry of Internal Affairs claims it searched Infotek due to the distribution of a Trojan.

"It was established that telecommunications equipment from one of the computer companies in Zaporizhzhia was used to create a Trojan program," claims the Special Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The official statement stated that on September 23, information appeared online about allegedly unprovoked police actions against a Zaporizhzhia IT company. While we understand that the best defense is a good offense, we officially report that the search of the company's office was conducted in response to an international legal request regarding the illegal creation and administration of a banking Trojan. It was established that telecommunications equipment from a Zaporizhzhia IT company was used to create the Trojan.

However, Mark Marchenko, founder of Infotek, one of Zaporizhzhia's largest IT companies, states that "law enforcement simply wants money, as they have already made it clear that they are prepared to seek solutions on the spot."

He reported this during the search of the company - The Department for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption is conducting a search at the Zaporizhzhia outsourcing company Infotek..
