The Ternopil Regional Prosecutor's Office upheld the Commercial Court's decision on appeal to recover over UAH 840 in damages from a forestry enterprise for environmental damage caused by illegal logging.

It was established that one of the region's forestry enterprises felled 244 trees in 2017 within the National Nature Park and Nature Reserve of national significance without permits or limits. The damage caused to the natural complexes of the protected areas exceeds 840 hryvnias," the report states.
