The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) will investigate the involvement of former People's Front MP Mykola Martynenko in the activities of the British company Moston Properties Limited. The company is suspected of supplying coiled tubing equipment to Ukrgazvydobuvannya at inflated prices.

According to MP Serhiy Leshchenko, citing a letter from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the 2009-2011 period will also be investigated, during which officials of the State Enterprise "NAEK Energoatom" received bribes to secure equipment purchases from the Czech company Škoda JS. He also claims that Moston Properties Limited is a shell company, and according to the UK government registry, the company's authorized capital is only 2 pounds sterling.

It should be noted that Moston Properties previously filed a lawsuit seeking to have Ukrgazvydobuvannya's actions declared unlawful due to the Ukrainian company's refusal to allow a British firm to disclose its bids in a tender for the supply of coiled tubing equipment. Among the bidders was the German company KATT GmbH, which ultimately won the contract, but following the court's ruling, the tender was annulled.

In addition, Leshchenko reported that Moston Properties was represented by Cypriot Georgina Papapetrou, who owns almost fifty similar companies.

On topic: Nikolai Martynenko. Why is the "nuclear oligarch" being so actively dumped?
