The National Commission for Financial Services has suspended the licenses of TAS insurance company.

The National Commission for Financial Services, by order No. 2863 dated October 2, 2014, temporarily suspended the licenses issued to TAS Insurance Group PJSC for violating legislation in the field of financial services.

This was reported on the regulator’s website, Interfax-Ukraine writes.
Licenses for compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners, voluntary insurance of land transport (except rail), and voluntary medical insurance (continuous health insurance) have been temporarily suspended.
"The National Commission for Financial Services requires the company to fulfill its obligations under contracts concluded with financial services consumers for the types of financial services for which they were granted the right to provide, and to cease the violations that served as the basis for the temporary suspension of the license," the statement stated.
TAS Insurance Group, founded in 1998, is a universal company offering clients over 80 types of insurance products across various types of voluntary and compulsory insurance.
As reported by the media, the business-financial group TAS, which included TAS-Investbank, TAS-Kommerzbank, TAS-Businessbank, the insurance company TAS, a family medicine clinic, and several others, is owned by Sergei Tigipko.
