Nalyvaichenko is summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office to determine the validity of his accusations against Surkov.

nalyvaychenkoThe Prosecutor General's Office expressed surprise that former SBU head Valentin Nalyvaichenko continues to accuse Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov of personally directing snipers on the Maidan in 2014. In connection with this, the former "security officer" has been summoned for questioning.

According to Sergei Gorbatyuk, head of the Special Investigations Department, who is leading the case, FSB representatives have visited Ukraine on numerous occasions, but the visits were mostly exploratory, and no evidence was obtained of Russian federal involvement in the crimes. Gorbatyuk also noted that Nalyvaichenko limited himself to making assertions without providing specific evidence.

According to Gorbatyuk, Surkov arrived in Ukraine on February 20 of last year at 19:15 PM, that is, after the murders on the Maidan. This is what prompted Nalyvaichenko to be summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office so he could explain his accusations.
