Former head of the Zaporizhzhia city branch of Prosvita, Oleg Tkachenko, reported that Ukrainian MP Ihor Artyushenko had raided the organization, according to the publication "Zabor."
It is known that a new head of the Zaporizhzhia city organization Prosvita has been elected. MP Ihor Artyushenko is the new head. However, the former head of the Zaporizhzhia city organization Prosvita, Oleh Tkachenko, refused to leave Prosvita's office and accused the MP of raiding the organization.
It was reported that the former head of Prosvita's office in Zaporizhzhia was violently evicted by Maidan Self-Defense activists in the presence of law enforcement. The activists were led by Dmytro Kharkov, an associate of MP Artyushenko.
It is known that Oleg Tkachenko headed the public organization Prosvita in Zaporizhzhia, which is engaged in cultural and educational activities and was created in the second half of the 19th century, for the last 6 years.
Igor Artyushenko was elected to the 8th Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine as a BPP deputy in single-member constituency 75 (Leninsky and Zavodsky districts of Zaporizhzhia). He is currently a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Preventing and Combating Corruption and the inter-faction parliamentary associations "Zaporizhzhia Sich" and "Maidan Self-Defense." Since January 2015, he has been the chairman of the inter-faction parliamentary association "For National Patriotic Education."
