Deputy head of the People's Front faction, MP Andriy Ivanchuk, failed to declare income from entrepreneurial activity in his tax return.
The declaration only included 168 hryvnias in salary, as well as 350 hryvnias from the sale of real estate. However, Ivanchuk, according to the documents, owns no securities, no apartment, and no car. He also claims to have no business, and has been living off savings for the past 10 years.
Meanwhile, prominent oligarch Igor Kolomoisky stated that he and Ivanchuk "have some kind of enterprise, where each has their own interests." The MP, however, stated that he simply "supports Ukraine's energy independence," without collaborating with Kolomoisky.
According to media reports, Ivanchuk has joint business projects with Donetsk oligarch Leonid Yurushev and former Party of Regions member Valeriy Kelestine. Specifically, Ivanchuk has invested approximately 200 million hryvnias in renewable solar energy. However, this is not disclosed in his asset declaration, nor is the 1,000-square-meter space at Boryspil Airport, where Ivanchuk and Yurushev own duty-free shops.
It's important to note that if law enforcement proves the declaration is incomplete, Ivanchuk could face up to two years in prison. However, given his parliamentary immunity, this is unlikely.
