Valentyn Nichyporenko, a Verkhovna Rada member from the Vidrodzhennya group, leases two plots of land for just 74,1 hryvnias per year. This was reported by journalists from the program "Schemes," who analyzed all land lease agreements signed by the Boryspil District State Administration.
It is known that Mr. Nichiporenko signed such a lease agreement with the Boryspil District State Administration for 49 years. The plots of land, each measuring 1,26 hectares, were given to the MP for "haymaking." They are located in the village of Gnidyn, Boryspil district, Kyiv region.
He was reportedly granted his first plot in 2006, after which the MP approached the authorities with a request for a second plot. In his application for a second plot, Valentin Nichiporenko wrote: "The plot of land previously granted to me is used for its intended purpose, namely, hay production. I request that you expand this plot of land, as the amount of fodder produced is insufficient for the horses I keep. On the plot of land granted to me for gardening, in addition to growing horticultural crops and fruit trees, I will also raise poultry (chickens, ducks), and rabbits. This economic activity will be the primary means of providing my family with fruit and meat," the parliamentarian wrote in his application.
The Boryspil District State Administration granted MP Nichiporenko's request and signed an agreement with a "modest" rent of 74,1 UAH per year.
