MP Tretyakov has monopolized the lottery market thanks to anti-Russian sanctions.

photo_bigThanks to anti-Russian sanctions, BPP MP Oleksandr Tretyakov has monopolized Ukraine's lottery market. Journalist Sergei Glushko writes about this for the publication Censor.

According to the journalist, Tretyakov's company, Ukrainian National Lotteries (UNL), is a monopoly in our country. UNL was previously owned by European shareholders Wolf Klammert (Austria), Peter Schetti (Switzerland), and Franz Renghöfer (Austria). However, for "unclear reasons," the company was transferred to offshore companies associated with Tretyakov.

The MP became the owner of UNL in December 2015. This is confirmed by the scandalous news report about the company's takeover. However, the videos in question were scrubbed and removed from the internet, writes Glushko.

A former UNL lawyer also confirmed that "a blatant legal assault occurred. And the firm was wrested from the Europeans by MPs Belous and Tretyakov," the lawyer said.

As a reminder, last year, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) added the lottery operators M.S.L. and Patriot to the list of "pro-Russian" operators. Consequently, the national lottery market was effectively monopolized by a single company, UNL. Previously, the operator held only 5% of the market.
