On their fourth attempt, MPs failed to dismiss radical Valeriy Voshchevskyi from his post as Deputy Prime Minister. The decision failed to secure the required 226 votes.

At the Verkhovna Rada meeting, Voshchevskyi announced that he, as the deputy prime minister delegated to Yatsenyuk's Cabinet from the Radical Party, had decided to resign following the latter's withdrawal from the coalition. Voshchevskyi accused the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of disagreements that significantly hinder the work of the executive branch.

In turn, Yuriy Lutsenko, who chairs the pro-presidential BPP faction in Parliament, accused Lyashko's Radical Party faction of creating a "broad opposition." Lutsenko also noted that the oligarchs will fail to achieve the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada.

Voshchevsky's resignation will be considered again at the evening session of Parliament on September 15, 2015.

We previously reported that after Lyashko's Radical Party went into opposition, Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure Valeriy Voshchevskyi resigned.

We wrote about interesting facts from Voshchevsky’s biography earlier.
