The NBU has classified National Investments Bank as insolvent.

bankThe National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has declared National Investments Bank insolvent. This decision was made on September 17, 2015.

The National Bank's order states that the financial institution conducted a number of non-transparent transactions, which led to a decrease in the bank's liquidity. The NBU press service reported that it is precisely because of non-transparent and risky transactions that domestic banks are most often referred to the Deposit Guarantee Fund and declared insolvent.

As a reminder, since the beginning of September 2015, National Investments Bank is the fourth financial institution in Ukraine to be classified as insolvent by the NBU.
