The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has blocked payments from Yefremov's bank.

The National Bank of Ukraine blocked payments to the Ukrainian Communal Bank (Luhansk) via the electronic payment system (EPS) on July 31 due to the suspension of its operations due to the ongoing anti-terrorist operation in Luhansk, the regulator's press service reported.

 

According to the statement, the bank notified the National Bank of its suspension of operations effective August 1 until the situation in Luhansk stabilizes. "The National Bank of Ukraine has blocked initial payments through the EPS to PJSC Ukrkomunbank and from PJSC Ukrkomunbank to other EPS participants since July 31, 2014," the statement reads.
