Anton Yatsenko
Relatives of Ukrainian MP Anton Yatsenko own 8,3 square meters of residential and non-residential space in the center of the capital, valued at 1 billion hryvnias. This is evidenced by excerpts from the Real Estate Rights Register, reports Kompromat UA.
Specifically, it is known that Lyudmila Kravchuk, Anton Yatsenko's wife, owns 611 square meters of living space in a building at 50 Artema Street. Anton Yatsenko, in accordance with current legislation, declared this property in his income declaration. Ivan Kravchuk, Yatsenko's father-in-law, also owns 5350 square meters at the same address at 50 Artema Street. Kravchuk also owns 484 square meters of non-residential space in the Botanik Towers business center at 119 Saksaganskoho Street, as well as 788 square meters at 11 Tarasa Shevchenko Boulevard. Ivan Kravchuk also owns three apartments in luxury buildings at 9 Grushevskoho Street and 11 Tarasa Shevchenko Boulevard, totaling 648 square meters.
Yatsenko's sister, Daria, owns three apartments with a total area of 388 square meters, one of which is at 51/53 Vladimirskaya Street and two at 3-5 Kruglouniversitetskaya Street.
Thus, the total area owned by the MP's relatives amounts to 8,3 square meters. According to experts, all of Anton Yatsenko's family properties are valued at $4 per square meter. Therefore, the total value of the MP's family's home could be approximately $33 million, which at today's exchange rate is approximately 1 billion hryvnia.
According to his 2013 income declaration, Anton Yatsenko earned 233 hryvnias. His wife earned 0,96 million hryvnias from renting out her apartment. Officially, Yatsenko owns no real estate.
Anton Yatsenko is known in Ukraine as a lobbyist for tenders since the Yushchenko era. His name has appeared in several journalistic investigations into corruption in public procurement. He is also well known as a defector. In 2011, Yatsenko, along with other MPs elected to the Verkhovna Rada on the BYuT list, defected to the Party of Regions faction. Following the February events on the Maidan, Yatsenko left the Party of Regions faction and joined Anatoliy Kinakh's "Economic Development" parliamentary group. He was elected to the 8th Verkhovna Rada as a single-member constituency candidate representing Cherkasy Oblast.
