search in Solnechny

As reported by lawyer Oleg Bambul, who represents the interests of the owners of the Solnechny business center, an employee of the General solarA prosecutor named Orlov and Odessa Oblast Deputy Prosecutor Mykola Klyantzko extorted $300 from the business center's owners. This occurred on December 1, during a search of the Solnechny business center.

As the lawyer explained: "On Monday morning, law enforcement officers arrived here with a warrant to search the business center. They were accompanied by the Kyiv Department for Combating Organized Crime. Activists from the Odessa Euromaidan movement responded to the officers' arrival. About 30 of them arrived at the scene to protect the business center owners and intervene. Then an anonymous call was received about a bomb threat at Solnechny.

The owners of the business center are Odessa businessmen Alexander Oiberman and Vadim Alperin.

As Mark Gordienko, head of the Public Safety Council, clarified, "the visit was nothing more than an attempt to 'raid' the enterprise; prosecutors allegedly extorted money from the administration. And the search itself was nothing more than revenge for the Solnechny owners' refusal to pay."

As previously reported, Odessa Oblast Prosecutor Andriy Priz introduced Mykola Klyantsko as his new deputy on November 24.
