The entire old Ukrnafta management must be fired, says Leshchenko.

During Viktor Yanukovych's presidency, Ukrnafta was headed by Belgian Peter Vanhecke, who was supposed to be a compromise for a number of politicians and oligarchs, including Ihor Kolomoisky, Yulia Tymoshenko, and Yuriy Boyko (then the Minister of Energy). He also represented the RosUkrEnergo clan. MP Serhiy Leshchenko wrote about this in his blog.

However, Kolomoisky managed to gain control of Vanhecke, paying him $3 million a year with the potential to almost double that amount. It's worth noting that Kolomoisky is a minority shareholder in the company through a number of offshore companies he owns. Thus, Vanhecke acted exclusively in the interests of the oligarch Kolomoisky.

It's also curious that the Belgian was supposed to hand over his powers, according to the agreement, to Kolomoisky's men – Vladimir Pustovarov or Alexey Kushch, who, incidentally, are still "running" the company, although Mark Rollins has already been appointed as head.

Leshchenko wrote directly that in order to remove the company from the oligarch's control, the entire old management of Ukrnafta must be fired.
