1_500x333The public supported Bichuch's initiative to create an open dialogue platform to combat corporate raiding. The Maidan Anti-Corruption Committee and several other organizations have already sent appeals to government agencies demanding an investigation into the series of corporate raids in the Kharkiv region and the Ministry of Justice's lawlessness.

Meanwhile, social media users have also weighed in. A flash mob in support of A. Bichuch and Agrosvit LLC, #єднаймось, is rapidly gaining momentum on Facebook. A demotivational poster with the aforementioned hashtag has appeared on the pages of thousands of Facebook users in less than 24 hours.

As a reminder, yesterday A. Bichuch announced the launch of a new platform for business representatives.

"If the state doesn't listen to Ukrainian business representatives, then they must stand up for their rights themselves. As the saying goes, one man is no match for another. Only through joint efforts can we resist corporate raiding. Today, we want to create an open dialogue platform for Ukrainian business representatives. We believe this will not just be a dialogue, but the development of concrete mechanisms jointly with businesses and representatives of both the executive and legislative branches," noted the founder of Kharkiv-based Agrosvit LLC.

Previously, media outlets reported that a similar scheme had been used to forcefully seize the Grakivsky feed mill and elevator. The perpetrators of the corporate raids on several important agricultural enterprises in the Kharkiv region are said to be Serhiy Polumysny and his team, known for a number of high-profile business scandals.

Experts have already dubbed Polumysny "Kharkiv's No. 1 agricultural raider"—despite his young age, the businessman has already been implicated in several high-profile conflicts involving changes in the management of a number of enterprises.

However, there has been no response from Head of State Petro Poroshenko or Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov so far. Moreover, according to some reports, this is due to the tacit assistance of one of Avakov's close associates to Kharkiv agro-raiders.
