This accessory can be purchased online for $65, or just over 1,6 million hryvnias. Mykolaiv Oblast Governor Vadym Merikov wears a more modest watch, costing just 160 hryvnias.

It's worth noting that the Politrada publication names Oleg Bogomaz as one of the richest people in Nikolaev, having risen from a simple policeman to a successful businessman.

He is the president of the Mykolaiv Regional Boxing Federation, a nightclub owner, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Bogomaz sponsored the election campaigns of Anatoly Oleynik and Volodymyr Chaika. Media reports indicate that after Volodymyr Chaika won the Mykolaiv mayoral election, Sigma-Sport, controlled by Bogomaz, immediately acquired land plots and paid parking lots. The current governor of the Mykolaiv region, Vadim Merikov, also owes his career to Oleg Bogomaz.
