On Friday, investigators from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau were unable to question Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksandr Onyshchenko from the "People's Will" parliamentary group, according to the Left Bank newspaper.
Onishchenko arrived at the NABU, but after he was explained the reasons for the summons, his rights and responsibilities, and the interrogation procedure, the deputy declared he had no time and left the premises. He cited his participation in a parliamentary session as the reason for this.
The criminal case against Onyshchenko was initiated on December 4. It concerns damages to the state amounting to over 500 million hryvnias in natural gas production in 2014-2015. The production companies were associated with Oleksandr Onyshchenko, as well as with Ukrgazvydobuvannya. These companies include Plast PJSC, Nadra Geocenter LLC, Firma Has LLC, Natural Resources + LLC (all in the Kyiv region), and Karpatnadrainvest LLC (Kharkiv region). Interestingly, Onyshchenko is a shareholder in four of the five companies (except Plast PJSC).
Plast's founders are Vedestim Trading Ltd. and Ostexpert Limited (Cyprus). It's also interesting that all of the aforementioned companies, except Karpatnadrainvest, are registered at the same address: 48 Lenin Street, Myronivka, Kyiv Oblast.
