The online casino that transferred 3 billion rubles to Russia belongs to Opposition Platform - For Life MP Mikhail Koshlyak.
Cyber experts from the Security Service of Ukraine conducted an unprecedented special operation to document and block an organized crime group created by Russian citizens in Ukraine, writes Antikor.
This concerns the operation of a virtual casino, the earnings from which were transferred to the Russian Federation. This was reported by press service of the SBU on its official website.
The SBU clarified that the perpetrators had a hierarchical management structure, headed by Russians, while Ukrainian citizens in the group were responsible for finding offices and service personnel, as well as advertising support, payment monitoring, and so on.
«Almost 3 billion hryvnias were transferred from Ukraine to Russia via cryptocurrency transfers."," the release said.
The Security Service of Ukraine has completely blocked the online casino's websites, and 10 members of the criminal group (five Ukrainian citizens and five Russian citizens) have been notified of suspicion.
The SBU press service published a photo of what the now-blocked casino looked like. According to the photos, it was called "Golden Cup."

According to political Telegram channels, a virtual casino with this name (a franchise) is owned by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council deputy from the Opposition Platform - For Life party, Mykhailo Koshlyak.
«This entire scheme operated under the "Golden Cup" brand. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the cup franchise is owned by Mykhailo Koshlyak and his cronies. Gambling halls are still operating. These dens operate under the cover of certain law enforcement agencies. The fee for "scoundrels" is 10-20 hryvnias per hall per month. Gambling halls are located in all cities and district centers of the region.", insiders point out.
Let us recall that Mikhail Koshlyak became a member of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) on November 17.
