The court upheld a settlement agreement stipulating that the Odessa Port Plant will repay ROC Trading 345 million hryvnias in debt by the end of May this year.
Last year, Odesa Port Plant already transferred almost 900 million hryvnias to the company. The total debt amounted to 1,21 billion hryvnias, including 10,5 million hryvnias in annual interest and 67,4 million hryvnias in inflation losses. The settlement agreement itself was concluded in December of last year, and at the time of its conclusion, the remaining debt amounted to the aforementioned 345 million hryvnias.
It's worth noting that ROC Trading was founded by the Cypriot offshore company T.GI Gas Holdings Limited, and its director is Artem Kompan. He is best known as the Deputy Chairman of the Board for Natural Gas Metering and Sales at Dnipropetrovskgaz OJSC. Dmitry Firtash owns over a quarter of this company's shares—26%.
In addition, Kompan represents Regional Gas Company LLC, which was created by Firtash's business structures to manage city and regional gas companies.
