The OPZ wants to prohibit the alienation of assets through the courts.

opzOstchem Holding Limited filed a petition with the Southern City Court to compel the Odessa Port Plant (OPP) to refrain from alienating or encumbering in any way its non-current assets, according to reports Ukrainian news.

According to the ruling of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (Sweden), OPZ is prohibited from alienating its non-current assets until August 31 of this year. The corresponding application was filed with the court on May 13.

This is far from Ostchem Holding Limited's first lawsuit against OPP. According to the company, it is concerned about the plant's growing accounts payable, as well as the potential privatization of the enterprise and, consequently, the failure to pay its debts. The reason for filing the lawsuit in the Stockholm Arbitration Court was the gas debt, which amounted to $193 million.
