Yuriy Vitrenko, Director of Business Development at NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, has been appointed the new head of the Supervisory Board of Ukrgazvydobuvannya ( more about him in the article Yuriy Vitrenko: Oil and Gas Business Mogul ). The reasons for Pasishnyk's dismissal were not specified in the National Commission's announcement. However, it is known that Mr. Vitrenko was appointed head of the Supervisory Board of Ukrgazvydobuvannya on April 22, 2016, for a three-year term.

In addition, new members were introduced to the supervisory board of the state-owned enterprise: Deputy Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Serhiy Konovets and Director of the Treasury Department of Naftogaz Roman Chumak.

Pasishnyk himself told UP that he was not informed of the reason for his dismissal from his position as head of the supervisory board: "My powers have been terminated at both Ukrgazvydobuvannya and Ukrtransnafta, and I do not know the details of my dismissal," Pasishnyk told UP.
