The Pechersk District Court has frozen the accounts of Yanukovych's son's companies.

courtOn March 3, 2016, Kyiv's Pechersky District Court seized 11 bank accounts belonging to Oleksandr Yanukovych's companies. This was revealed in a court ruling.

The accounts of Mako Aktiv, Mako Holding, and Building Investments Group have been frozen. The accounts were opened at Ukrbusinessbank (five accounts), ING Bank NV Netherlands (four accounts), and two accounts at VBR (Ukrainian Development Bank). The amount of funds in these accounts is not specified.

During the investigation, law enforcement officials discovered that in 2013, Oleksandr Yanukovych organized a criminal scheme that allowed companies to avoid paying taxes to the national budget. These actions resulted in approximately 42,598 million hryvnias in lost revenue for the state budget.
