On October 28, it was announced that the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv released on bail the leader of the organized crime group "Bashmaki" (Bashmaki), Yura Moldavan, real name Yuriy Yernyak.

It is known that Yuriy Moldavan organized the kidnapping of Oleg Seminsky, the head of the board of directors of Naftogazvydobuvannya PJSC, in 2012. Yernyak and his accomplices are charged under Part 2 of Article 146 and Part 2 of Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with "illegal deprivation of liberty" and "extortion." Yuriy Yernyak was detained by law enforcement on the night of July 3-4, 2014.

In addition to Yura Moldavan, the Pechersky District Court also released his two accomplices. The Prosecutor General's Office (GPU) has already announced that it will appeal the decision of the Pechersky District Court.
