Yuriy Kosyuk sold 100% of his shares in the Berezan Poultry Farm, located in the Kyiv region, to five Cypriot companies. This was reported by the website Kapital, citing the information disclosure systems of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC).
This is also evidenced by changes in the factory's management structure. Alexander Golovan, previously the director of Dragon Investments, has been appointed president of the poultry farm.
The executive director has also changed to Sergei Slobodanyuk, and the chief accountant to Alena Bezik.
Yuriy Kosyuk is one of the richest people in Ukraine – in 2014, Forbes Ukraine estimated his fortune at $1,3 billion (ranking him 7th). He amassed his wealth in the agricultural business. For his outstanding contributions to the development of the agricultural sector, Kosyuk was awarded the title Hero of Ukraine.
On July 3, 2014, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko appointed Yuriy Kosyuk as First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.
