The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) is investigating a case of false asset declarations filed by MP Yevhen Petrunyak, a member of Dmytro Razumkov's "Sensible Policy" inter-faction alliance. So, Yevhen Petrunyak.

The information was obtained from the materials of criminal case No. 42025000000000295 dated 04/09/2025 under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code.
As part of this investigation, NABU detectives conducted searches of the politician's residence in mid-August. As previously reported, the NACP discovered hidden income in Petrunyak's declaration amounting to over $100.
The audit of the 2022 tax return revealed evidence of inaccurate information amounting to over UAH 7,3 million. A substantiated conclusion was submitted to the Prosecutor General in 2025.
The agency also conducted a full audit of the 2023 declaration and found inaccurate information amounting to UAH 3,6 million. The MP failed to declare $100—part of the proceeds from the sale of a house near Lviv.
Yevgeny Petrunyak incorrectly reported the area of an apartment in Spain, which his wife acquired in 2022. The actual area is 185 square meters, not 130,8 square meters as stated in the declaration.
The MP also failed to disclose $100 (equivalent to 3,6 million hryvnias at the NBU exchange rate at the time) received from D.O. Danilevich as part of the payment for the sale of a residential building in Zubr, near Lviv. According to his asset declarations, Yevhen Petrunyak lists one house with an area of 481,9 square meters and two plots of land in Zubr.
The NAPC report indicates that the house is being sold for $1 million. The buyer paid a $100 down payment in 2022, another $100 in 2023, and the remaining balance is due by 2027.
The NAPC also raised questions regarding the declared monetary assets of the MP's wife—over one million Polish zlotys, allegedly representing advance payments to Polish construction companies. Yevhen Petrunyak explained that he had reported this amount based on his wife's testimony, but was unable to provide documents confirming the funds' foreign origin. Experts were unable to verify this information, nor the origin of over $30 in his wife's savings, which are held in Polish banks.
Following an audit, the NACP found false information in Yevhen Petrunyak's declaration amounting to UAH 3,6 million, which constitutes a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code. The findings have been forwarded to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

Yevhen Petrunyak is a member of parliament from the Servant of the People faction. He worked in the legal profession for nearly 20 years. He graduated from the Law School of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and was the director of the Lex-K law firm. In 2010, he unsuccessfully ran for the Lviv City Council in a single-mandate constituency representing the Ukrainian Social Democratic Party. In the fourth convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, he served as an assistant to MP Oleksandr Hudyma.
