According to a court decision, Atlasjet Ukraine will not operate flights from Kyiv and Odesa for now.

atlasjetThe Kyiv District Administrative Court upheld Ukraine International Airlines' claim against the Ministry of Infrastructure and banned Atlasjet Ukraine from operating flights on all international routes.

Andriy Guk, a lawyer with the firm Marchenko Danevych, who is representing Atlasjet Ukraine, says the court's decision has not yet entered into force and Atlasjet Ukraine will appeal it.

As a reminder, Atlasjet Ukraine was scheduled to begin operating flights from Boryspil Airport this fall. The airline planned to begin flights to and from Ukraine's main airport on September 15, 2014. It was scheduled to fly from Kyiv and Odesa to Lviv, as well as operate international flights from Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Odesa to Istanbul, and a flight from Odesa to Tel Aviv.
