Andriy Lisenko, a representative of the National Security and Defense Council Information Center, reported that despite the fighting, construction of office and residential buildings is proceeding at full speed in Donetsk. This work is being carried out by the company "MAKO," which is owned by the eldest son of former President Viktor Yanukovych.
Such bravery, in his opinion, can be explained very simply, since the construction is under the protection of the radical separatist group "Oplot".
Earlier, journalist Roman Bochkala wrote on his Facebook page that the office of Sasha the Dentist's MAKO corporation had resumed operations in Kyiv:
"The office of Sani Yanukovych's MAKO corporation has been operating in Kyiv for over a week now, my source reports. A certain level of secrecy is being maintained. The holding's management had long considered moving to Moscow. But it turns out everything's fine—they can continue working in Ukraine, continuing to rake in cash to destroy the country they robbed. Rank-and-file employees were forced to close their social media accounts and communicate with top management via Skype or Viber. The office is located somewhere near the central registry office. I don't know the exact location. But what if I do, does the SBU know?"
