Where do the subordinates of Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaliy Yarema get luxury cars worth over a million hryvnia?
Mykhailo Tkach, a journalist for the "Groshi" program, posted some very interesting information and photos on his blog on UP, captioning it all: "The fight against corruption must begin with the Prosecutor General's Office. Otherwise, the Yefremovs, Bogatyrevs, and their modern clones will forever live at our expense."
Our public servants, for example, Mykolaiv Oblast Prosecutor Andriy Oskin, own a very expensive Land Rover Range Rover Vogue, currently valued between 2 and 2,5 million hryvnias.
As the video and photos show, a man who looks exactly like Oleg Umansky, the prosecutor and senior information systems officer at the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, loves a Mercedes ML, worth around a million hryvnia.
The young man in the cool jeep with a personal driver is none other than Artem Petrashkin, just an assistant to the First Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Gerasimyuk.
The Toyota Land Cruiser, according to the license plate, is registered to this modest man, Leonid Aleksandrovich Selnikov, head of the department for preventing and combating corruption in the central office of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Somehow this whole "prosecutor's life" contrasts sharply with the situation in the country – the economic downturn, the war, the barely warm radiators... And lustration seems increasingly like a formal process for show and to throw off attention.
