StavitskyFormer Arkada Bank President Serhiy Sushchev, who disappeared on September 18 in the Lviv region, is linked to fugitive former Energy Minister Eduard Stavytsky. This information was published by Interfax-Ukraine, citing a source in law enforcement.

 

Sergei Sushchev was reportedly in Lviv on September 18, 2015, when he disappeared. On September 20, his burned-out car was found 20 km from Lviv near the village of Rakovets. It was reported that Sushchev was found dead near the same spot where his burned-out car was found.

 

Sergey Sushchev served as president of Arkada Bank. This bank serves the interests of Kyivmiskbud. The financial institution's shareholders are Konstantin Palivoda and the late Vladimir Polyachenko, who previously headed Kyivmiskbud. Another 9,9% of Arkada Bank's shares are owned by Cypriot citizens Panika Symeou and Christakis Konnaris. These individuals own the Cypriot offshore company Sykon Holdings Ltd. This offshore company is the founder of another Cypriot company, Brayhood Limited. Brayhood Limited founded the company Investments in the Future LLC. Sergey Sushchev is listed as the director of Investments in the Future LLC.

 

The offshore company "Sykon Holdings Ltd" is a co-owner of another company, "Magavenia Investments," which founded "Aktiv Capital Group" LLC. Anatoly Stavitsky, father of former Energy Minister Eduard Stavitsky, is listed as the director of the latter.

 

During the Yanukovych presidency, Sykon Holdings Ltd was involved in a deal to replace cash registers nationwide, which was led by the Ministry of Revenue and Duties.
