On April 12, 2021, as a result of a large-scale special operation, law enforcement officers detained members of a criminal group who were engaged in the production and distribution of a psychotropic substance in especially large quantities in Ukraine, reports press office National police.




As a result of the searches, law enforcement officers seized 120 kilograms of finished amphetamine, approximately 500 kilograms of phenylnitropropene, and more than three tons of precursors, from which the perpetrators planned to manufacture more than two tons of psychotropic substances.
Law enforcement officers conducted searches in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Cherkasy regions, as well as in Kyiv.
It was established that the criminals set up an amphetamine lab at an industrial facility in Dnipro. The finished products were distributed through five online stores, via mail order services, or through so-called "stash houses."
Following searches of the drug dealers' residences, vehicles, and stashes of prohibited substances, police seized more than 120 kilograms of finished amphetamine, approximately 500 kilograms of phenylnitropropene, and more than three tons of precursors, which the criminals planned to use to manufacture more than two tons of psychotropic substances," the statement reads.
