Stolar's assistant appointed chief architect of Kyiv

It was reported that the position of director of the Kyiv Department of Urban Development and Architecture is now combined with that of Kyiv's chief architect.

Previously, Mr. Tatsiy served as deputy director of the urban development department. From 2007 to 2012, Yuriy Tatsiy was an assistant to MP Vadym Stolar.

It is also known that Tatsiy, along with another of Stolar's aides, Oleksandr Kostyuk, co-owned several companies, including Budmegaservice and Architectural and Construction Alliance. These companies mysteriously acquired several dozen hectares of land for development in Kyiv's elite neighborhoods. The companies are now registered to Dmytro Limar. The latter served as head of Poroshenko's campaign headquarters in the Stavishchensky district of Kyiv Oblast during the 2014 presidential elections.

Ex-People's Deputy Vadim Stolar is known for heading the BPP headquarters in the capital in 2015. The media call him “the watcher of Kyiv.”

It is known that the newly appointed acting director of the Kyiv Department of Construction and Architecture owns two land plots with a total area of ​​2,000 square meters. Tatsiy maintains UAH 1,309 million in his bank account.

Previously, the department head was supposed to be elected through a competitive process. However, following the scandal, Kyiv Mayor Klitschko suspended the competition. Sources note that Yuriy Tatsiy's investigation under the "Law on the Purification of Government" is still ongoing.
