President Petro Poroshenko has leased 0,75 hectares of land on the coast in the village of Kozyn for 49 years. According to the documents, the land will be used for "the construction and maintenance of coastal defense structures."

Interestingly, this area is located on the same street in the village where the house of the President of Ukraine is located, on a plot of 3,3 hectares.

The corresponding agreement, according to state registry data, was signed on August 31. According to the documents, Poroshenko is leasing the property until 2064, with the right to sublease and the possibility of extending the lease.

The land plot is priced at 479,000 hryvnias, or 6,400 hryvnias per 100 square meters. Rent will be 5% of the total, or almost $1,000 at the current exchange rate. It's important to note that current legislation prohibits changing the designated use of water protection zones, as well as construction within them. In this case, the water protection zone extends 50 meters from the upper bank of the Kozinka River.

It's also curious that Poroshenko's aforementioned house wasn't included in his tax return for last year, although a 3,3-hectare plot of land does appear there. The Ministry of Justice database also contains no information for the search queries "Arseniy Petrovich Yatsenyuk" and "Volodymyr Borysovych Groysman."

As a reminder, access to state registries and property rights was opened to everyone on October 6. The cost of obtaining information is 17 hryvnias.
