Poroshenko expelled Sergeev, who was working his ass off for Ukraine, from the UN and appointed... Moscow's Yelchenko

I warned about a similar reshuffle a month ago, but then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially (!!!) stated that no one would fire Sergeyev; he was fully and completely fulfilling his stated goals.

However, the authorities deceived them once again: not only did they recall Sergeyev from the UN, but they also appointed a Russian protégé, Vladimir Yelchenko. Yes, the same Yelchenko appointed as ambassador to Russia by Viktor Yanukovych, the same Yelchenko who lobbied hard for Ukraine's accession to the Customs Union, the same Yelchenko who had a hand in many agreements between Ukraine and Russia, including the most recent (2010) on the Black Sea Fleet, defending Russia's position in Kyiv far more forcefully than Ukraine's in Moscow.

President Poroshenko appointed this "esteemed diplomat," a longtime Moscow ambassador, as Ukraine's new Permanent Representative to the United Nations—a decree the Head of State signed today, December 9.

So what's this supposed to be? Right now, on January 1st, when Ukraine has a golden opportunity to diplomatically defend its position, Poroshenko is appointing a man who has been kissing Churkin's gums for years, and on whom the Kremlin has plenty of dirt.

Interestingly, Pyotr Alekseevich appointed the ambassador by decree. They say he did so without even a recommendation from the Foreign Ministry. Because no one but Petrushka wanted to get their hands dirty.

And Petrushka couldn't care less. He's already in deep shit. So he needs to maintain good relations with at least someone. For example, with his colleague Putin...

Well, yes, let's repeat the Poroshenko bots' mantra: "Peter Alekseevich, I can't act differently—I can't offend Putin, he might attack..."
P.S. So, as they say, don't get up twice. Some older people (like me) might wonder if this Yelchenko is related to "that" Yelchenko. This won't mean anything to the younger generation, but for information, there was such a person in Ukraine as "chief ideologist" in the Central Committee, who was also the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, the First Secretary of the Kyiv City Committee (a versatile comrade), and even became a member of the CPSU Central Committee (those who remember those times understand that this is the highest rung of the hierarchy, above which comes only the Politburo).
I will answer: yes, the current Ukrainian representative to the UN is the son of a member of the CPSU Central Committee, Yuriy Yelchenko, who received his education and career advancement during the years when his father was in power.
So tell me: the son of a party boss, and one who also worked in Russia, isn’t he under surveillance?
Oh, Petya-Petya...
