Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has created the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities, dissolving the National Commission for State Regulation of Public Utilities and the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy. The corresponding decrees, dated August 27, were published on the head of state's official website.
Decree No. 692 liquidated the National Commission for State Services (National Committee for State Services), and Decree No. 693 liquidated the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NERC). Valeriy Kalchenko was appointed head of the National Commission for State Regulation of State Services, and Yuriy Andriychuk was appointed head of the NERC liquidation commission.
By Decree No. 694, the President established the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities. Volodymyr Demchyshyn was appointed Chairman of the new commission (Decree No. 694). The following were appointed commission members: Andriy Gerus, Volodymyr Yevdokimov, Yulia Kuznetsova, Ruslan Mashlyakivskyi, Valeriy Tarasyuk, and Andriy Tkachenko (Decree No. 695).
As a reminder, the NERC was headed by Sergei Titenko, and the National Commission for State Services by Sergei Dunailo.
