Poroshenko declared UAH 222 million in income for 2020.

Former president, parliament member, and leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, declared 222 million hryvnias in income, reports UP.

The MP earned UAH 504,540 of this amount in the Verkhovna Rada.

Another 214 million hryvnias are dividends, and 7 million hryvnias are interest on deposits at the International Investment Bank. Poroshenko's office reported that the total amount of taxes and military fees paid amounts to over 23 million hryvnias.

Reportable expenses in 2020 totaled UAH 79 million, of which more than UAH 30 million was for legal services for defense in more than 50 criminal cases.

"...charitable expenses in 2020 were aimed at fighting the coronavirus and amounted to approximately 150 million hryvnias. These expenses were financed from the accounts of various legal entities affiliated with Poroshenko. The electronic declaration form does not provide for the declaration of such expenses.

Poroshenko keeps $51,2 million in cash and 42,3 million hryvnias.

The head of European Solidarity declared a number of collections of paintings, watches, furniture, a piano, chandeliers, jewelry, fur coats, and women's handbags belonging to his wife Marina.

Poroshenko's family owns three cars: his wife has a Jaguar and his husband has two Mercedes-Benzes," the publication writes.

It is known that the politician spent 1,8 million hryvnias on advertising.
