Maidan crimes will not be investigated – prosecutors are controlled by Levochkin and Khomutynnik.

NamelessFormer Party of Regions members Sergei Lyovochkin and Vitaly Khomutynnik promoted their own people to key positions in the prosecutor's office. Therefore, the crimes against the Maidan committed in the winter of 2012-2013 will not be fully investigated.

It is known that Alexey Nichiporenko, a close associate of Khomutynnik, and Andrey Levochkin, Sergei Levochkin's nephew, hold senior positions in the prosecutor's office, according to the publication INFORMATOR.

Neither of these prosecutors were purged after the Revolution of Dignity. And in the summer of 2014, under their supervision, criminal investigations into the repressions against Maidan activists and Automaidan participants were dismantled. However, far from being held accountable, Oleksiy Nichyporenko and Andriy Lyovochkin have been actively advancing their careers since the summer of 2015. Furthermore, they are making every effort to ensure that the cases against the activists are not properly brought to a conclusion.

Therefore, it can be argued that President Poroshenko made a tacit agreement with former Party of Regions representatives such as Levochkin and Khomutynnik, so that the latter could freely oversee the investigations against their fellow party members.
