Yesterday, December 1st, at 7:00 PM, an Audi Q19 was stopped in Dnipropetrovsk while patrolling traffic. Vadym Belyi, head of the Investigative Department of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, was driving. He was in a state of insanity, waving his ID card and, using obscene language, demanding his immediate release. He also threatened to arrest all members of the patrol team.
As traffic police officers and Automaidan activists approached him, he attempted to flee. At that moment, a package containing $20 fell out of his coat pocket.
The most interesting thing is that the car the official was driving while intoxicated is currently wanted. During the investigation, the registration number AE 8963 AO of the Audi Q7 turned out to be fake. This number was registered as a Gazelle vehicle.
Prosecutor Bely was sent for a medical examination.
As Dnipropetrovsk Automaidan activists reported on their Facebook page: "The regional prosecutor reached the required 'condition' at the Mimino restaurant, located at 7a Lenin Embankment Street. Apparently, it was there that he decided to drown in 'stronger drinks' the memory of how exactly three years ago, on Prosecutor's Day, he hit three women. Therefore, regional prosecutor Belyi certainly has a lot of experience driving under the influence."
Vadym Belyi, head of the Investigative Department of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, likely celebrated his professional holiday yesterday. As is known, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated November 2, 2000, December 1 is an official holiday—Prosecutor's Office Workers' Day.
