The pro-presidential faction does not want Leshchenko to deal with corruption issues.

anti-corruption bureauDeputies from the BPP faction did not vote to include MP Serhiy Leshchenko in the investigative commission on political corruption and offshore companies. This was announced by the MP himself.

Leshchenko noted that Mustafa Nayem proposed his inclusion on the commission. However, the faction declined to support his candidacy and instead nominated Alexey Mushak, Vladimir Ariev, Vladislav Holub, Pavel Rizanenko , and Mikhail Kobtsev.

The MP noted that only 7 MPs voted to include him on the commission.

In turn, Nayem wrote on his Facebook page that "just two years ago, all of my colleagues from the BPP loudly applauded Serezha and I's investigations into the actions of officials in the Yanukovych regime. However, when it came to access to real work, yesterday's brave souls shamefacedly lowered their eyes and rejected Leshchenko," the MP concluded.
