Khreshchatyk Bank employees stole UAH 81 million in deposits.

lootAn organized group of 16 employees of the Kyiv branch of PJSC Bank Khreshchatyk was involved in the theft of deposit accounts totaling over 81 million hryvnias, according to the prosecutor's office press service.

It was established that between February 2010 and March 2014, these individuals stole funds from 54 depositors by falsifying deposit documents. The prosecutor's office charged 16 former bank employees with the crime and seized their property.

As a reminder, on April 5, a temporary administration was introduced at Khreshchatyk Bank, and on June 2, the NBU decided to liquidate Khreshchatyk Bank.
