Deputy Prime Minister Valery Voshchevsky of the Radical Party has resigned from his post as Deputy Prime Minister. He announced this privately.
He explained his actions by citing subordination to party discipline and the Radical Party's transition to the opposition. According to Voshchevsky, the Radicals are now barred from having representatives in the government. He also announced that three committee heads would also resign.
As a reminder, the coalition formed on December 2 of last year included the BPP, Samopomich, the People's Front, Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party, and Batkivshchyna. It's also worth noting that former Deputy Prime Minister Voshchevskyi, prior to his appointment, managed to become embroiled in a scandal. It turned out he attempted to privatize the state-owned enterprise "Road Repair and Construction Department No. 100." This information was initially declared false, but the Prosecutor General's Office confirmed that a criminal case had been opened against Voshchevskyi.
It should also be noted that he has repeatedly promised to eliminate corruption schemes in the supply of material resources to Ukrzaliznytsia and Ukravtodor, but the results of this are unknown.
