Racketeer Mosiychuk is running for parliament on the Lyashko-Firtash list.

One of the main demands of the Maidan was a new government. To fulfill this demand, early elections to the Verkhovna Rada were called. Although many doubted their timeliness given the ongoing war and the lack of voting conditions for approximately 7 million of our fellow citizens, the hope of new leaders coming to power, free from the corrupt ties of the Yanukovych era, proved stronger than pragmatism.

Who will we see in the new parliament?
One of the post-revolutionary phenomena is the sharp rise in the ratings of Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party. It's hard to call this politician a new face, as he has been a member of parliament since 2006. However, his exceptional rhetorical talent and charisma have allowed him to grow in popularity. This was greatly aided by a strategic alliance with one of the most notorious clans of the Yanukovych era—the RosUkrEnergo group of oligarch Dmytro Firtash and former head of the presidential administration Serhiy Lyovochkin. The group's vast media resources (Inter TV channels, the Savvik Shustier show, K-1, K-2, and the Podrobnosti website) have expended titanic efforts to promote the politician. This has allowed numerous random people to be added to the party lists, as voters vote for the leader without carefully reading the party lists or its platform.
A striking example of such a person is Igor Mosiychuk.
Nationalist and racketeer
Mosiychuk was born in the city of Lubny in the Poltava region on May 5, 1972. After school, he joined the Soviet Army, where he founded and led a Ukrainian nationalist youth group.
In 1994, Mosiychuk joined the UNA-UNSO. In 1995, at the funeral of Patriarch Volodymyr, he took an active part in a brawl between Berkut special forces and UNA-UNSO representatives. He was arrested a few days later.
In 1996, he worked as an assistant and consultant to Ukrainian MP Yuriy Tyma. He received a year in prison for fraud, but was released six months later after prominent politicians intervened. After the collapse of the UNA-UNSO in 1998, he joined the SNPU.
Since 2011, Mosiychuk has served as a member of the SNA Executive Committee and was appointed Chairman of the SNA Press Service. He participated in preparing the registration of the social-nationalist political party. Since 2005, he has resided permanently in Vasylkiv. In 2009, he came into conflict with the Armenian diaspora in Vasylkiv. In the 2010 elections, he was elected to the Vasylkiv City Council. He became the chairman of the standing committee of the Vasylkiv City Council on regulations and cooperation with law enforcement agencies.
In 2010, together with other like-minded individuals, he initiated the establishment of the Social-National Assembly and became a member of its executive committee. Beginning in August 2011, a series of gang arrests began. In late August 2011, Igor Mosiychuk and several others were arrested for plotting a terrorist attack. The court convicted all suspects.
Racketeering and election fraud in Vasylkiv
Organized terrorism emerged in Vasylkiv in February 2010, as the organization "Patriot of Ukraine" was founded at the invitation of Ihor Volodymyrovych Mosiychuk. Mosiychuk himself moved to Vasylkiv because he was wanted in his native Lubny for child support failure.
In addition, in 2006, Mosiychuk was wanted by the police for armed robbery.
By that time, he had become the right-hand man of the gangster mayor Ivaschenko, a member of the Party of Regions. Mosiychuk's criminal experience proved invaluable within Ivaschenko's organized crime group. Mosiychuk effectively became the head of the group's entire law enforcement agency.
Mosiychuk's main function is to establish racketeering from local businessmen, market owners, and slot machine operators.
For his close ties to the Party of Regions, Mosiychuk was expelled from the Ukrainian People's Party. Following his expulsion, Mosiychuk's thugs burned the cars of the UNP leadership.
The first action, on March 20, 2010, was the toppling of a Lenin monument in Kalinovka. It was a high-profile case, during which ordinary extortion was reclassified as a political act. In reality, the explosives were being prepared for an explosion at the Boryspil market, the owner of which refused to pay tribute to Mosiychuk's gang. And then, as the case progressed, the Lenin monument theory was invented.
In April 2010, the founding meetings of the Patriot of Ukraine organization were held in Vasylkiv. Moreover, they were held openly, in the presence of party cell leaders close to Mayor Ivashchenko (RUKH, KUN), as well as the head of the executive committee, Viktor Shevchenko.
Under Mosiychuk's command, the "patriots" began active operations in the city. Mayor Ivaschenko gave the go-ahead for their atrocities (attacks on Batkivshchyna, FZ, and Svoboda tents). They received money for their "direct action."
In the lead-up to the 65th anniversary of Victory Day, they covered the entire town of Vasylkiv with their symbols, which are very similar to those used by the occupying forces of Nazi Germany. In June 2010, Mosiychuk's gang attacked the Vasylkiv Batkivshchyna party's reporting and election conference. Mosiychuk himself took part in the attack. They beat a security guard, broke into the conference room, and overturned furniture. The police failed to respond to the call. For the first time, there was talk that police chief Kuts was covering for the patriots.
After this, active preparations for the local elections began. Threats, pressure, intimidation, armed robberies, and car arson began. The windows of then-city council member Yuri Krakhmalnikov's apartment were smashed four times. Moreover, several stones wrapped in a postcard reading "Down with the Jews" were thrown into the bedroom where his wife was with their small child. The gang set fire to the car of local activist Viktor Pandzhakidze, set fire to two cars belonging to Vasylkiv city council member Bohdan Korchynskyi and his father, smashed windows in grocery stores owned by A.A. Slonchak, and broke the display window of the Sapsan car dealership belonging to city council member Yuri Odinets (Vladislav Odinets's older brother). They also smashed a window with stones and a fake hand grenade in the office of the city branch of the "Front for Change," where Sergei Biryukov was located at the time.
Due to the exposure of the gang's activities and the disclosure of their faces, names, and nicknames, activist V.V. Sergienko was attacked. Three "athletes" attacked him right in the courtyard of his home on his way to work.
During the local elections, the gang's functionaries were permanently holed up in the Vasylkiv Territorial Electoral Commission (TEC) building. They were assigned a room in the office of F.F. Pustovoit, head of the culture department. Personal security for the chairman of the TEC, Oleksandr Krikunov, was provided by convicted felon Volodymyr Skvazhina.
Interestingly, Mosiychuk's personal security was provided by Vitaliy Zatelepa, a Party of Regions member of the territorial election commission, known in Vasylkiv by the criminal nickname "Puck." Moreover, Arseniy Yatsenyuk named all the names of the election commission falsifiers during the rally.
During campaigning a few days before the 2010 elections, Mosiychuk's alumnus Sergei Bevz and his gang attacked the Svoboda tent.
As a result of Mosiychuk, Bevz, and Skvazhina's work on the territorial election commission, as well as the chairman of the territorial election commission, Krikunov, the Batkivshchyna and Svoboda party lists were not registered. Furthermore, Batkivshchyna and Front for Change are not represented on the city council at all.
However, eight people were elected to the council and formed the "For Ukraine" faction. Moreover, Kyrylenko was repeatedly informed of the atrocities committed by members of his faction in Vasylkiv, under the cover of police chief Kuts and prosecutor Morozyuk, at the direction of the mayor, who by then had already joined Ivaschenko's Party of Regions.
After the 2010 election fraud, Mosiychuk, along with Vitaliy Zatelepa (Puck), a member of the Territorial Electoral Commission from the Party of Regions, drove a car (there is a video recording) into residents of the city of Vasylkiv who had come out to protest against the falsifications.
Only Ivaschenko, a member of the Regions, and two technical candidates were registered as mayoral candidates. The remaining candidates, nominated for the ratings, were either not registered or deregistered by the territorial election commissions. Despite this, Borovik won the vote on October 31, 2010. However, a recount was conducted, and the presence of Mosiychuk and Ivaschenko's gang skewed the results in favor of Ivaschenko, a member of the Regions.

How a nationalist racketeer became a Lyashkovite
In August 2011, the gang of Mosiychuk, Bevz, and Skvazhina was arrested at the office of a municipal utility company. A homemade explosive device and radical propaganda materials were seized from the office. In the 2012 Verkhovna Rada elections, Mosiychuk was registered as a candidate for constituency No. 94 on the KUN ticket. This was despite being a member of the For Ukraine party and being in pretrial detention. Furthermore, Mosiychuk brazenly worked to discredit Batkivshchyna candidate Viktor Romanyuk.
While in pretrial detention, he contacted Oleh Lyashko's aides and convinced the latter that he was a political prisoner. The two then entered into a partnership agreement.
Then, under the influence of influential regionalists, patrons of Lyashko, Anatoly Prisyazhnyuk and Yuriy Boyko (the Firtash-Levochkin group), the case was closed.
In 2013, during the Vasylkiv midterm elections, the territorial election commission registered Mosiychuk as a mayoral candidate for the "For Ukraine" party. At the time, he had already been incarcerated in the Bila Tserkva penal colony for two years.
Once again, Mosiychuk is actively working from pretrial detention against opposition figure Sabov, the UDAR mayoral candidate. Patriot of Ukraine is launching pogroms in Vasylkiv.
On December 11, 2013, they were sentenced to 6 years in prison.
In 2014, after the events on the Maidan, at the insistence of Lyashko and Levochkin, all the “Vasilkov terrorists” were released early.

Pseudo-fighter of the battalion
At the national level, he became more famous due to the massive PR campaign of the Azov volunteer battalion.
But he doesn't actively participate in combat. Laziness, excess weight, poor physical fitness, and cowardice prevent Mosiychuk from being on the front lines. Instead, he spends a lot of time blaming himself on his fictitious exploits on Facebook. As one real-life soldier recounted: "The unit is developing a reconnaissance plan. And this fatso happily posts on Facebook, 'We're going on reconnaissance!' Our guys almost got caught. After all, all the coordinates can be found on a cell phone. It's a complete mess!"
But the time spent in Mariupol cannot be considered wasted. He attempted to lead a corruption and smuggling operation at the Mariupol Commercial Seaport. However, his efforts were insufficient, and Mosiychuk contented himself with stealing seven cars belonging to the port (records of which are available at the Ministry of Internal Affairs).
Deputy Governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Boris Filatov gave an emotional, albeit obscene, assessment of the activities of Mosiychuk and Lyashko: "So, you bastards, did you get some PR? Did you announce, those militant faggots Lyashko and Mosiychuk, that Azov and Shakhtarsk were storming Donetsk? Did you rejoice, scum?"
Electoral list
These are the kind of people who, parasitizing on the people's trust and pumped up with oligarch money, will now sit in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Ihor Moseychuk currently occupies a favorable spot, ranking among the top ten candidates on Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party list. Interestingly, Moseychuk remains grateful to his former boss, Vasylkiv Mayor Ivaschenko. He even arranged for a $5 million payment to be transferred to him for a spot on the RPL's favorable list.
