Since its establishment in 2015, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has received over UAH 95,7 million in international technical assistance projects. The funds were allocated by the governments of Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the European Union, according to Country.
This was stated in NABU's response to an information request from lawyer Vladimir Bogatyr.
The document states that NABU is a budgetary institution, the primary administrator of budgetary funds, and operates under the budget program KVED 6321010 "Support for NABU Operations." Funding for NABU from any other sources is prohibited, except as provided for by Ukraine's international treaties or international technical assistance projects.
The Bureau clarified that since the establishment of the National Bureau, the institution has received material and intangible assets totaling UAH 95,748,700 as part of international technical assistance projects, including:
- in 2016 - UAH 18,707,700,
- in 2017 - UAH 18,707,700,
- in 2018 - UAH 18,707,700,
- in 2019 - UAH 18,707,700,
- in 2020 — UAH 29.
Thus, in 2015–2017, the German government, through the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, provided UAH 22,226 million for technical equipment for a forensic laboratory, equipment for a data processing center, and services for furnishing premises.
In 2016-2017, the US government allocated UAH 13,874 million for computer and office equipment, furniture, and training. The EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine allocated UAH 2,353 million for promotional materials, furniture, equipment, software, interrogation room renovations, air conditioners, and video surveillance systems in 2015-2017.
From 2014 to 2020, the Government of Canada allocated UAH 618,1 for office equipment, furniture for the NABU training center, and training.
From 2017 to 2021, the US government allocated UAH 31,280 million for equipment for the bureau's leadership, IT equipment, and technical equipment for the forensic laboratory and software.
The EU is allocating UAH 23,088 million from 2016 to 2024 for computer equipment, software, printing, media monitoring services, a social media advertising campaign, and a specialized online course (case game) on corruption investigations.



The UK government is allocating UAH 2,309 million in 2020-2021 for software and access to online training for three NABU employees.
