Unikombank has been declared bankrupt by the NBU decision.

bankYesterday, another Ukrainian bank was declared insolvent by the NBU. This time, it was Unikombank.

As of Wednesday, October 14, the bank's cash balance was only 80 hryvnias, representing 0,01% of liabilities. The bankruptcy may have been caused by the fact that the bank was originally registered in Donetsk but later moved to Lviv. However, the vast majority of assets and collateral remained in the "DPR" territory, and debtors stopped servicing their loans.

On October 6, Unikombank was declared a bank in trouble, and shareholders admitted their helplessness, declaring they were unable to help the bank. It's important to note that in October alone, two other banks besides Unikombank had already closed: Kontrakt on October 6 and Union Standard Bank on October 2.

The largest shareholder of Unikombank is Andrey Radkevich, who owns almost 42% of the shares.
