Alexey Kosmin
Alexey Kosmin, head of the Odessa branch of the State Property Fund, clearly lives beyond his means and forgot to disclose his wife's income in his tax declaration. This was discovered by journalists who analyzed the official's tax return.
In his 2015 income declaration, Kosmin reported earning only 84,3 hryvnias. As for his wife, Alla, according to the declaration, she contributed nothing to the family budget.
However, the head of the State Property Fund branch deposited 36,2 hryvnias in the bank last year. Therefore, his family spent only 50,1 hryvnias in 2015.
The Kosmin family lives in their own house, and the official himself owns 3,3 hectares of land. He also owns expensive cars: a 2006 Audi Q7 and a 1996 Mercedes Benz.
As journalists noted, Kosmin's "very modest" lifestyle is completely at odds with his declaration. Back in 2011, photojournalists captured the official's $43 Patek Philippe wristwatch. It's known that he was already holding his position at the time.
Mr. Kosmin has also failed to report his wife's business on his tax return for the second year running. Alla Kosmina contributed 74,15 hryvnias to the authorized capital of Yuzhpromavtomatika. The official's wife is registered as residing in the resort area of Odessa's Kyivskyi district at 12 Levanevskoho Street. There is an elite 400-square-meter estate there, registered to Kosmin's daughter, Kristina Grabova.
