The SAP press service reported this.
The defendants were convicted of appropriating and legalizing 18 hectares of state-owned land with a market value of over UAH 160 million.
The investigation established that in the spring of 2021, during a corporate conflict between Ivanshchenko and Molchanova over control of the Stolichny market located in the Kyiv suburbs, the businesswoman intended to transfer the market's assets to controlled legal entities and individuals.
After a series of actions aimed at leasing the land to a controlled company, these plots became the private property of individuals controlled by the developer and, based on fictitious transactions, were sold to three companies controlled by the developer.
During the conflict resolution process, the developer and the former deputy signed a settlement agreement for the joint use of the entire market land, specifically for development. And in September 2021, the former deputy's authorized representative became a beneficiary of the companies owning the land plots.
