Sbitnev, Mkrtchyan, Slavtich – "volunteers from the high road"

We previously wrote about the specifics of the fraudulent business of Kharkiv businessmen Igor Sbitnev, Robert Mkrtchyan, and Alexander Slavtich. But as it turns out, real estate scams aren't their only area of interest, writes Antikor.

With the onset of the Russian offensive on Kharkiv, I. Sbitnev, R. Mkrtchyan, and A. Slavtich initially fled the city, but after the partial defeat of the occupiers, two of them returned and began to attach themselves to the volunteer movement. "Humanitarian aid distribution" has become a niche that has recently attracted numerous scammers, and this gang of thugs is no exception. For the past month and a half, these fake volunteers have been encountered at humanitarian aid distribution points, where they talk about non-existent charitable projects and pilfer whatever they can get their hands on.

Since these products, equipment, and medicines never reach those in need beyond "Mkrtchyan's warehouses" (as confirmed by the complete lack of relevant information in both public and private sources), it can be assumed that they are being sold under the table to wholesalers and ending up on store shelves in the Kharkiv and Poltava regions. In May, a separate investigation by the regional military-civilian administration was even conducted following a complaint.

According to informed sources, the cash obtained through this illegal means is being accumulated by I. Sbitnev, R. Mkrtchyan, and A. Slavtich for the implementation of investment projects in the commercial real estate sector.

Considering the background of these scoundrels, nothing else could be expected from them...

Igor Sbitnev, Robert Mkrtchyan, and Alexander Slavtich – "volunteers from the high road"

Robert Mkrtchan

Robert Mkrtchyan was previously implicated in a number of financial frauds and is implicated in the embezzlement of funds from the National Bank's non-state pension fund. He is a staunch supporter of the so-called "vatnik" (vacuumed Russian word for "vatnik") and a proponent of the so-called "Russian world." He ran for parliament first as a member of the SDPU (o), then as a member of the "Not So!" bloc. He was the founder and still heads Medvedchuk's "Social Democratic Association of Deputies and Heads of Local Councils of the Kharkiv Region."

Igor Sbitnev

Igor Sbitnev spent most of his life scraping by on odd jobs and small-time real estate scams, a perpetual debtor and borrower. He is also implicated in the embezzlement of funds from the National Bank's non-state pension fund through the Perspektiva exchange. Exactly the day before the Russian invasion, he (seemingly by accident!) flew to Turkey, from where he continues to conduct his business remotely to this day.

Alexander Slavtich

Alexander Slavtich, a participant in the Sbitnev and Mkrtchyan scams, is an unremarkable, typical representative of the 90s, a schemer involved in "cashing out," "double-entry bookkeeping," and "black cash." In the past, he was a scandalous small-time developer who poses as a "successful developer."

In addition to their criminal connections, fraud, deceiving business partners, and embezzling funds from the National Bank's non-state pension fund, this trio became notorious for a number of other scandals, including:

— beating, robbery and attempted rape of a journalist;

— assistance in organizing public lectures for the famous “vatnitsa” (a type of vatnik), separatist, and participant in the “Peacemaker” base, Tatyana Montyan;

— obstruction of a meeting between journalists from the Ukrainian Public Television and displaced persons from Donbass.

Conscientious businessmen and honest volunteers should exercise caution when dealing with these individuals!

By topic: Honorary Consul of France Sergei Polituchy may be involved in corruption and fraudulent schemes.
