The SBU has dismantled a scheme for illegal imports from a sanctioned Russian company worth hundreds of millions of hryvnias.
The parties to the deal illegally shipped wholesale quantities of chemical products from Russia to Ukraine. The supplier was one of the largest industrial enterprises in the aggressor country, which is under sanctions by the National Security and Defense Council. press office power department.
The total volume of imported sanctioned goods amounted to over 300 million hryvnias. These sums were deposited into the accounts of Russian manufacturers involved in financing Russia's full-scale invasion of our country.
It was established that the criminal scheme was orchestrated by two executives of the importing company, both Russian citizens. According to investigators, they established industrial-scale supplies of mineral fertilizers and feed additives to Ukraine from an affiliated plant in Russia.
To circumvent sanctions, the criminals deliberately entered false information about the origin of goods into customs declarations.
During searches of the office and warehouse premises of the deal's organizers in Kyiv, as well as the Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia regions, law enforcement officers discovered:
- about 6,5 thousand tons of products;
- documentation confirming illegal activity.
According to the SBU, a seizure of nearly 150 million hryvnias was placed on the sanctioned goods and bank accounts of a Russian-controlled commercial entity.
A pre-trial investigation is currently underway to bring to justice all persons involved in the criminal activity.
The measures to expose the violations were carried out by SBU officers under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office and with the assistance of the State Tax Service.
