SBUThe Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the theft of $60 million worth of barley from the State Food and Grain Company of Ukraine (SFGKU), which took place when the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine was headed by Svoboda Minister Shvaika. This was revealed in a ruling by Kyiv's Pechersky District Court on December 23, 2015.

SBU officers asked the court to grant them access to the registration file of Fedcominvest-Ukraine LLC, which is related to Fedcominvest Europe Sarl.

It was previously reported that the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) suffered losses of UAH 16 million as a result of illegal grain export transactions. The Cypriot company Lirtavis Enterprises LTD and Monaco-based Fedcominvest Europe Sarl were also involved in this transaction. The illegal grain sales transaction also took place during Shvaika's tenure as the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
