In 2015, Oleksiy Poroshenko, the son of the Ukrainian President and a member of parliament from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, declared 77,2 hryvnias in official income. Furthermore, the younger Poroshenko's family deposited 8,4 million hryvnias into foreign financial institutions last year. This is stated in Oleksiy Poroshenko's 2015 income declaration, published on the Verkhovna Rada website.
The declaration shows that Oleksiy Poroshenko owns an apartment with an area of 80,66 square meters and other real estate with a total area of 178,5 square meters.
The MP owns three cars: a 2011 BMW 320 convertible, a 1981 GAZ 14 Sedan-V, and a 2013 Land Rover Discovery. Poroshenko keeps 428,294 hryvnias in banks. Of this amount, 426,575 hryvnias were deposited in 2015.
Oleksiy Poroshenko's family declared 2,088 million hryvnias in income. Aside from a large sum deposited in foreign banks, the family owns no real estate. Moreover, according to their 2014 income declaration, Oleksiy Poroshenko's family held only 31,005 hryvnias in foreign financial institutions. Thus, in 2015, the younger Poroshenko family's bank deposits increased 283-fold.
